Consent Letter to Collection, Use and Provision of Personal Information
To SAEHAN Co., Ltd.
We (the “Company”) shall obtain a consent letter from you in order to collect, use or provide to a 3rd party any personal information of you regarding the process of conclusion of employment agreement (recruitment) under Articles 15(1)1 and 17(1)1 of the ‘Personal Information Protection Act’ and Articles 22(1) and 24-2(1) of the ‘Act on Promotion of Use of Information Network System and Information Protection.’ Please consent to the collection, use or provision to a 3rd party of your personal information as follows:
1. Terms of Collection and Use of Personal Information (Required)

◎ Purpose of collection and use

■Carry out and manage the process of conclusion of employment agreement (recruitment); confirmaiton (inquiry and verification) and deliberation of job experience and qualifications; and decision on employment

■Address the complaints, dispute resolution and perform obligations under the laws and regulations

◎ Items to be collected and used

■Personally identifiable information: Name, birth date, sex, nationality, address, email address and contact information such as telephone number

■Information provided by customers for job application other than personally identifiable information: Educational background, language skills, military service, qualification and job experience, and materials filed for job application such as cover letter

◎ Period of retention and use

The personal information as prescribed above is to be retained and used for the purposes as prescribed above from the date of consent to collection and use of such personal information until the purpose of collection and use will be achieved.

However, if that period as prescribed above lapses or the job applicant rejects to enter into an employment agreement, the personal information will be retained or used only to the extent that such personal information is necessary for treatment of civil complaint, dispute resolution and performance of obligations under the laws and regulations.

■Even during the period when the purpose of collection and use of personal information is achieved, the information will be removed upon request of the job applicant.
※Period for achievement of purpose of collection and use of personal information
-The personal information will be automatically removed after it is retained for the period from the registration date in talent pool to the last day of the month following the lapse of 3 years.

◎Right to rejection and disadvantages in case of non-consent

■The consent to the collection and use of the personal information as prescribed above is required one for the process of conclusion of employment agreement (recruitment), and the registration of job application and cover letter is available only when you consent thereto.

2. Items of Collection and Use of Sensitive Information (Optional)

◎ Purpose of collection and use

Confirmation of person subject to preferential hiring

◎ Items to be collected and used

Information of disability and veterans

◎ Period of retention and use

■The personal information as prescribed above is to be retained and used for the purposes as prescribed above from the date of consent to collection and use of such personal information until the purpose of collection and use will be achieved.

However, if that period as prescribed above lapses or the job applicant rejects to enter into an employment agreement, the personal information will be retained or used only to the extent that such personal information is necessary for treatment of civil complaint, dispute resolution and performance of obligations under the laws and regulations.
